Dawn – Bridal shoot

December 10, 2009

I woke up a few days ago to the lovely Dawn text messaging me that it was snowing. And yes, being that we live in the Central Valley, I was like “huh?”

As many of you saw, it was in fact snowing quite heavily in areas of the Bay Area. So I jumped out of bed and headed to Dawns place where we got her all dolled up for the Bridal shoot we had been planning for the last week. Hair and make up was done by the beautiful and talented Alanna Rene. The curls and make up put up a good fight against the cold!

Dawn’s dress originally wasn’t her favorite… but as everyone saw on her wedding day, she looked stunning and really fell in love with it when she saw herself in it on the morning of her wedding. Mixed with her adorable pin up style, and bright red hair to match her shoes , Dawn brought so much of her own style into such a classically beautiful dress.

No 1964 Galaxie’s were harmed in the shooting of these photographs.
{Thanks to Dawn’s hubby Chris for leaving the keys at home! hah! }

While we were shooting, there were people out enjoying the rare, snowy day. Two random onlookers stopped to take photos of the bride hanging out in the snow. As well as two news photographers! One from the Stockton Record, and the other from the Manteca Bulletin.

Check us out! I’m rockin’ my awesome shootsac by Jessica Claire!
