December 7, 2009Stacey – Bridal Session + December Obsessed
December 4, 2009Honestly, wasn’t it January last week or something? It seems that each year just keeps going faster and faster. Another year gone, some resolutions completed and others left on the back burner. But most importantly, it’s the holiday season! I still get excited over getting my tree every year… decorating the house with ridiculous lights and goofy Santa and snowmen figurines. I honestly started Christmas shopping a month early just because I get so excited about giving to my family and loved ones. Hope everyone is enjoying their Holiday shopping!
Plus I am so very grateful that I don’t have my old job from years ago working at Sears Portrait Studio for the Holidays. Oh yes.
And now time for my December obsessed list!
1) Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance” keeps being played over and over on my youtube and ipod. I have no idea why this song catches me so much but it just hasn’t gotten old yet. Along with the visually creative video. Sure she’s a little wierd – but you gotta give credit where credit is due.
2) Christmas movies and music! Oh so exciting.
3) The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus – how amazing does this movie look? The visuals alone are reason enough to check it out. Although it’s a shame to see Heath Ledger in a role he didn’t live to finish. I am really hoping this film doesn’t dissapoint. Looks like one of the most visually creative films since MirrorMask.
4) Red Velvet anything. I’ve been hardcore dieting and working out lately so really all I can think about is how much I am going to royally blow it on sweet treats this holiday.
And now for pretty pictures
I recently was able to shoot this amazing bridal session with the beautiful Stacey. As you can see, Stacey isn’t your typical bride. We wanted to do something edgy and grunge that fit her look and personality. Look at those eyes…! This was a total last minute shoot, and we were racing against the sunset to get these photographs. Not too shabby for literally about 20 minutes of shooting time.
