Natalie and Miguel are a true love story. They were originally planning to get married last year, but Miguel serving our country, was deployed before the wedding could take place. Meanwhile, Natalie has made her home in Spain – yet their love still keeps strong through the distance. How does one plan a wedding when both parties are not in the country?
You have one of the coolest mother’s ever, of course.
Natalie’s mother, Cecilie planned this wedding for her daughter. Florals, venue, photography… she did what her daughter and future son in law couldn’t do because of their living circumstances. The timing was just right as Miguel was able to come to California at that time to finally get married. This wonderful woman worked true magic for her daughter.
Both Natalie and Miguel had friends and family from Norway, Germany, Switzerland, and all over the US all come together at the Presidio in San Francisco for this beautiful occasion. This was one of those weddings that I felt so much love in the room, and I found myself joining in with others in the room with tears of joy welling up in my eyes. Time and distance had no bearing on the love this group of people felt for each other. It was truly one of the most touching experiences that I have ever encountered as long as I have been shooting weddings.
Thank you so much Cecilie, Natalie and Miguel for letting me be a part of this beautiful event. I feel truly blessed to have met you and your family.
